As you probably read months ago I bought myself a wacom intuos large and I thought it would enhance my artistic ability to its fullest but i feel like its doing just the opposite

Before I got this tablet this was how I did things:
skech it on computer paper
scan the sketch
color the sketch on photoshop

and thats just how I did my art for years

Then I buy myself this really nice piece of equiptment and I cant use it Not that I dont know how, but I cant draw nice things on it. It's like my brain doesnt want to adjust to the change, so it refuses to learn. I practiced so many times but its just so difficult to use and I feel so tempted to throw it across the room and grab the mouse I learned to love isntead LOL.

I dont want to think I wasted $437 on something i'm unable to use but I cant help but think just that

I want to be able to do EVERYTHING on the tablet, sketch the whole thing, lineart it and color it but i cant even sketch on it, it doesnt even look like my art. Did i start out too intense with the large intuos? :/

Thats why I havent uploaded andything art related since march, I feel so uninspired because I cant use this tablet! T_T

If you own a tablet i want to know the process YOU go through when you draw on it and if you where ever as sad and frustrated as i am right now.


I really need help T_T I feel so horrible for negleting what I love out of this sadness I feel v.v

I saved a whole mess of money from my new job and got a WACOM INTUOS4 LARGE!
I also saved like $77 off the retail price and got it shipped in 4 days THANK YOU WALMART!
The tax on it was like 40 bucks though O.O

I've had like no time to install it cause of work and school o.o I finally got the chance today and...its so beautiful...tears almost excaped my eyes LOL

omg but I feel like I need to learn to draw all over again, this sudden change like deducted my art ability by about 3 years LOL. So do i like make the sketch, line art it and color or what? XD i'm not used to using this thing haha

And this was some pkmn b/w fanart i started back in late july lol idk if i wanna finish it now since i DONT EVEN NEED A MOUSE ANYMORE ;D and i dont want it looking like half mouse and half tablet looking...if that makes sense LOL



and this was ORIGINALLY for DreaChu's coloring contest AND I COULD'VE SWORN it said it ended on august 31st, so it comes around the end of august and i go online to submit it and i find out the contest ended and the winners were announced so i wasted hours coloring this thing D;



oh gosh LOL i did this waaaay back even before heartgold and soulsilver even got released in japan. i was so proud of it at the time but i was like HOW DO I EVEN COLOR THIS? like i dont draw pokemon really and i didnt know how to color them o.o idk dont ask LOL

but now that i have a tablet at my disposal it totally uped my inspiration to draw again so despite my school and work stopping me I WILL TRY MY BEST TO DRAW FOR YOU GUYS!<3

btw give me tips for a first time tablet user...plox?? XD

i work at this restaurant called "cheddars" as a hostess! : DDD
its an easy job but when its sort of your first, its REALLY SCARY D;
when it comes around lunch time it gets so busy D; and i made a mistake on my first day OTL
i seated a party of 8 at a table that wasnt open
i dont think my manager was satisfied LOL

but i have like 10000 new pieces im working on!!! *__*
but im so lazy and now that i work WHEN CAN I FINISH THIS CRAP??
